So disappointed - I ordered yesterday from Uber Eats because 7-Kitchens has a 4.8 rating.
The best chinese food I ever had was when a co-worker took us to 97 Street & we had genuine chinese food - BEST EVER - he ordered for us all.
I am no longer working with him & since then have tried ordering the authentic food we had with no luck.
Now learned:
The Two-Menu System Standard Menu: This list has popular, modified dishes like General Tso’s chicken or beef and broccoli.
Traditional Menu: Many places keep a separate menu written in Chinese—or ask if you want authentic food—with regional specialties like spicy hot pot, duck tongue, or century eggs.
The spring rolls were mushy - worse than the frozen ones I have bought in the stores. - broke them apart to see why - I do not know why.
The chicken fried rice had a good amount of chicken, but the frozen vegetables with corn just wrecked it - no flavour at all.
The beef with vegetables tasted like dish water.
The sweet & sour pork had good flavour, but were so overcooked, very hard to chew.
I will not be ordering again.
So disappointed.

The owners are a very lovely family, the restaurant is super clean, and so beautiful inside, and the food is so delicious, they cook it fresh, and the price is right, if you are looking to have a good meal, I strongly suggest, trying this place :) they for sure get a 5 star rating.

I originally put 4/5 stars because it took me 4 laps to find the place…but that’s not their problem. Food was good, no complaints at all.
